What an incredible start to "Pedal for Precious Lives" in Plymouth

01/02/2017

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE START TO “PEDAL FOR PRECIOUS LIVES” IN PLYMOUTH!!!

Kate Pyman, the Sales Manager of Wise Employment in Plymouth started some true pedal power by completing the “Fastest Mile Challenge” in just 2.46 minutes!

Kate said “ The team and I are keen to be the winners of the challenge which is to collect as much money as possible for Children’s Hospice South West.  We have a Company wide challenge

To pedal 2,500 miles and to raise a minimum £2,500 but we want to smash that target!  We are the second branch of the Wise Recruitment Group to have the bike and we have already gained some incredible support!

A massive Thank you to the Store Manager of Tesco at Roborough who allowed us to set up our stand and static bike in the entrance of the store.  The staff of Tesco’s and the public helped cycle 31.25 miles and we raised an incredible £108.68 in just 2 hours!

People wishing to enter the “Fastest Mile Challenge” can win the Company challenge with a well earned bottle of bubbly and, so far in Plymouth we have both Jan Davis and Alan Turner from Tesco’s up on the leader board with  2 minute 36 seconds on the clock but we are not sharing the milliseconds or it will give the game away!!”

A HUGE thank you to all the Tesco Roborough staff today.  It’s really appreciated.

Please come to our offices and lend some pedal power and donate your loose change at Wise Employment, Cobourg House, 32 Mayflower St, Plymouth PL1 1DJ  or to get involved then please call us on: 01752 603800
