Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Retail Floor Planner to a highly successful client based in Plymouth, This is a fantastic Temporary to permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and a huge variety of benefits, working 8:45am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday

As a Retail Floor Planner, you will look to create and communicate retail floorplans for new and existing stores. Using AutoCAD, you will work with a team of floor planners, buyers, and analysts to produce accurate and timely merchandising plans for our stores to implement.

Reporting to the Floor Planning Manager your role will form part of team of Floor Planners, producing layouts for both New and Existing stores for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter trading seasons in a timely, methodical, and analytical fashion

Duties and requirements

• Commercial and / or retail experience
• Methodical, thorough, accurate and numerate.
• Have a creative flare, passion and be able to exercise own initiative.
• Excellent PC skills
• Software –
  • AutoCAD – (Preferable)
  • Sketchup or equivalent 3D design package (advantageous)
  • Windows O/S
  • Microsoft Office Package
  • Photoshop or equivalent graphics package (advantageous)
