Job Description
We are proud to be supporting this global company based in Peterborough, to find an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to work within their large-scale chemical regeneration Plant and Water Treatment Service Centre.
The Role
This is an important role and the successful candidate will be responsible for the electrical builds of water treatment equipment, keeping projects to time schedule and budget, and utilising your knowledge and experience to trouble shoot and rectify errors found in technical drawings.
As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and documentation of cables, trays, and rack assemblies, working on Single-phase, three-phase, high-voltage, and low-voltage electrical circuits.
You will use blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and electronic schematics to complete the builds, ensuring that the quality of work produced is of the highest standard.
Essential experience:
City & Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent.
At least 3 years working experience in the electrical field.
Highly desirable qualifications are:
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
NVQ3 in electrical based units
City and Guilds 2391 – Electrical testing and inspection
You will be computer literate and familiar with MS Office packages.
Knowledge and experience of working within the Water Treatment Industry or with Water Treatment equipment would also be highly beneficial.
Paying up to £42,000 per annum. Working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexible start time to suit family and individual needs!
You will be auto enrolled into pension after 3 months at 5% EE & 10% ER, as well as Life Insurance after probation at 10 X basic salary.
