New Exciting Permanent role for a Health & Safety Officer based in North England/Scotland.

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to be based in the North of England or Scotland to cover North of the M62 areas and Scotland.

You will be responsible for carrying out Health & Safety training for all new and also existing stores and will carry out visits to carry out and monitor compliance also.  You will carry out store risk assessments and schedule inspections and examinations by third parties.  You will also assist in developing policies, procedures and risk assessments.

Health & Safety Officer - Key skills and experience

To be successful in the role of Health & Safety Officer, you will preferably have previous experience in a health and safety role, have a full UK driving licence and be confident in training large groups of 70+ people. You will be able to comply with Legal & Company Health & Safety regulations and be experienced in reading and interpreting statutory documents and produce relevant policies, procedures and risk assessments.
