Production Operative (Food) required near Ivybridge. £23,795 minimum per annum DOE working 40 hours a week; Tuesday to Friday with the option for overtime available also and fully paid breaks.   Benefits of working for this company include; free parking, discounts on food and lunch provided one day per week, discounts on products and E-bikes for staff after one year of service plus 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays.

Wise Employment are recruiting for a Food Production Operative for one of our clients who produce high quality cold meat products.

This position does not require specific previous experience as training will be given, but some experience in a food production or butchery would be highly advantageous.

Core responsibilities as a Food Production Operative:

–         Processing raw materials in a clean and safe manner following relevant training

–         Willingness to learn new skills in a niche but growing industry

–         Involvement in all aspects of charcuterie making including cleaning and health & safety

Required knowledge and skills

–         Proven track record of punctuality and professionalism within a work environment

–         Ability to co-operate successfully with fellow staff at all levels

–         Experience in in a food production is desirable but not required. All training will be provided in house.

–         Willingness to adapt to a changing role and duties
