Job Description

Are you an experienced Sales Co-coordinator looking to work for a fun, family-run design, development and manufacturing company based in South Cornwall?

Wise Employment are looking for a Sales coordinator to join the team of this exciting company and could start as soon as the middle of November!

Your key duties will include coordinating with all departments on a regular basis, assisting with the completion of new account forms, quote sheets product specifications forms and factory information sheets as and when required.  Organising samples as requested and providing product images and copy text.  Staying on top of retail price comparisons and reviewing customer websites regularly to check images, pricing and stock availability to maximise on sales.  Creating, maintaining and circulating customer selection and labeling documents. 

Other key duties will include sales ledger and sales order processing for nominated accounts.  Understand the company’s system and procedures to ensure effective account administration. Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely product shipments, order information being passed to customers and liaising with customer and third party warehouse regarding order changes or cancellations. Finally bridging the gap in communication between all sites both in the UK and overseas. You may also be required to provide trade show assistance and support and attend customer meetings as well as organising samples as requested by customers.

Job requirements:

  • Previous experience in a sales or sales administration role
  • Excellent IT skills including (email, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint essential.)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • A proactive work style
  • Demonstrable communication skills
  • Empathy towards other people and cultures
  • Willingness to resolve anomalies through investigation
  • Personally organized multitasker
  • A keen team player

Hours of work are Monday – Friday 40 hours per week with a flexible working scheme available and maybe required to work reasonable additional hours to meet the needs of the business.
