As an approved supplier to Boehringer Ingelheim, Wise Employment successfully managed a Permanent Recruitment Project to fill 25 vacancies, to tight deadlines, to facilitate the timely opening of a new department.



The Challenge

Boehringer Ingelheim needed to recruit 25 permanent members of staff, to tight deadlines, for a new 24-hour operation. This requirement would normally have been handled internally, however high activity in other areas meant that the Human Resources Team were already working at full capacity. Consequently, after much consultation, the entire Recruitment Project was outsourced to Wise Employment.

Our brief was to attract the required number of candidates for interview and skills testing to establish their match to pre-determined criteria, in order to produce a shortlist for final interview by Boehringer Ingelheim.

The Wise Solution

Boehringer Ingelheim was keen to attract the best selection of local candidates for their short list. Wise Employment met this requirement with a local advertising campaign, which generated 240 responses!

Following a series of interviews and assessments, Wise produced a shortlist of 32 candidates for the Human Resources Team to interview.

All candidates attending interview were fully briefed by Wise Employment, using a high quality Applicant Briefing Pack designed by Wise to Boehringer Ingelheim’s specifications.

The Outcome

All positions were successfully filled to deadline, allowing the timely launch of the new operation.

Wise Employment has continued to develop their supply partnership with Boehringer Ingelheim and has been appointed as a preferred supplier for the eighth consecutive year.
